Our farm has moved and we are settling in!

Our farm has moved and we are settling in!

It has finally happened!  We found a small farm to purchase and after 12 weeks of paperwork, we moved ourselves and all the animals on the 3rd of May. During the move, we welcomed our 3 new baby goats, Basil, Cherry and Baby Hamish.  They have adapted beautifully.  Mums and Dad are enjoying trimming all the overgrown farm and trees!

Our new farm is nestled on the edge of the Ribiera Sacra, Galicia, where we are enjoying a cooler and more temperate climate under many trees.

The new farm has a very old and natural feel to it.  With small villages, mostly filled with abandoned properties, we are surrounded by Chestnut, Hazel and Walnut Trees.

Our challenge now is to keep our livestock in place and catch up on the flower farm.  We have a small quarter acre field that is well positioned for our flower farm.  So I have been busy digging, weeding and transferring plants.   Troy has been putting up quick and easy polytunnels and digging beautiful beds.   We want to tell you all about it but we are now working on our schedule and daily routine so we can get back on track with communication and the business.

If you are looking to visit us and do a volunteered work-away, we are looking into accommodation options.  Our best offer is that you book the local Pension in the town and we collect you each day.  We will look into the prices and offers they have before we really recommend it.  Unfortunately we do not have any extra space at the cottage now and the rules in Galicia, prevent us for making any temporary outside accommodation.

Thank you for your support and if you would like to support us more, be sure to check out our drop-shipping items, where I share many goodies, including recipe books and artwork from the farm

Best wishes friend,
