The Wild Trails Farm, Ribiera Sacra, Galicia
The Wild Trails Farm is a small regenerative homestead located in the Ribeira Sacra, Galicia. Surrounded by forested hills, vineyards, and seasonal wild growth, the farm is a working landscape shaped by animals, flowers, and food production. We focus on sustainable living through our flower farm, heritage-style creative work, foraging, and small-scale food growing, alongside community engagement, volunteering, and educational visits.

Flowers, Plants and Trees grow
Each season we plant perennials, dahlias, and seasonal flowers to turn the land into an abundant and beautiful resource
-
Animals manage the land and feed the soil
We need our animals to manage the land, clear abandoned areas, and feed our soil with compost! The hens feed us and turn over the compost!
-
Art captures our story of the seasons
We capture our moments online and through artwork that we can share and sell to support our farm as it grows and develops.
Our Dream
We are developing multiple income streams rooted in the land and seasonal cycles, including our flower farm, foraged and homegrown products, and creative services. The focus is on building a sustainable, resilient system that supports both the farm and a wider community, where local growing, ecological awareness, and small-scale production work together to create long-term balance and value.
Flower Farm Vision
We are launching our 2026 flower farm project, focused on growing seasonal, field-grown flowers using low-impact, soil-conscious methods. The aim is to build a small-scale cut flower system that works with the natural rhythms of the land, supporting biodiversity while producing high-quality blooms for local use, events, and creative work. This marks the beginning of a longer-term commitment to regenerative growing and sustainable floral production.
The Rainbow Farm
Rainbow hens roam freely under the trees in mobile coop tractors, enriching our soil, managing pasture naturally, and supporting a regenerative farm system where animals, land, and seasonal growth work together in balance.
Husbandry and Pony
Our Goats and Pony move through the land as natural clearers, managing overgrown areas, reducing invasive growth, and improving pasture health. Working in rotation across the farm, they help restore balance, contributing to a sustainable, low-impact system where animals play an active role on our land.
From field to plate
We are developing a food-growing system focused on producing, preserving, and using as much of our own food as possible. From seasonal vegetables and fruit to herbs and small-scale livestock integration, the aim is to reduce reliance on external purchases by making better use of what the land provides. Surplus is preserved through traditional methods such as drying, freezing, and storing, creating a practical farm-to-plate cycle that supports self-sufficiency, reduces waste, and strengthens resilience across the seasons.
Be part of the farm
The farm is developing as a living system of animals, flowers, food, and creative work — and community participation directly helps it grow.
Farm School, Community and Volunteering
We welcome community engagement through school visits, where we share aspects of farm life, animal care, and seasonal growing while also providing opportunities for English language practice in a real-world rural setting. Alongside this, we offer weekly volunteering opportunities and longer farm stays for individuals interested in learning about sustainable living, regenerative land management, and small-scale food and flower production. These experiences are designed to build practical skills, cultural exchange, and a deeper connection to the land and community.farming small! Bespoke Farm & Heritage Logo Design
Your logo should tell a story. I create bespoke illustrated logos that capture the character of farms, rural businesses, family homesteads, and countryside brands. Incorporating elements such as farmhouses, livestock, working animals, pets, gardens, or landscapes, each design is drawn to reflect the heritage, personality, and values behind your business. The result is a memorable logo with a classic, handcrafted feel that stands apart from generic modern branding.
Bespoke Brand Illustrations
Distinctive illustrations can transform a product from ordinary to memorable. I create custom artwork for labels, packaging, merchandise, and marketing materials, drawing inspiration from farms, homesteads, animals, gardens, and rural landscapes. Each piece is carefully illustrated to reflect the story, heritage, and personality behind your brand, creating artwork that feels both authentic and enduring across products, packaging, and promotional use.
Heritage Home & Pet Illustrations
Some places and animals become part of our family's story. My custom illustrations are designed to capture that connection through detailed, hand-drawn artwork inspired by traditional botanical and heritage illustration styles. From farmhouses and country cottages to treasured dogs, cats, horses, and livestock, each portrait is created from your photographs and supplied as a high-quality print ready for framing. The result is a timeless piece of artwork to be enjoyed for generations.
