Patitos á venda
O noso seguinte grupo de parrulos estará á venda en outubro, cando estean listos para ser realoxados. Actualmente vendemos patos corredores e patos manchados australianos. Tamén temos algúns patos de raza mixta. Os nosos patos poñen ovos para o consumo, pero non vendemos patos para o consumo de carne. Pedimos que os patos sexan coidados como animais de granxa domésticos.
Our rare breed ducks on the farm
The ducks on the farm keep us smiling every day. The eggs are wonderful and the ducks never stop entertaining us with their funny walk and playfulness in water. The ducks have been visiting the garden over the wet winter months, helping us clear away all the pests. Especially the snails. We have 3 special breeds of ducks on the farm. Runner Ducks, Spotted Mallards and Peking Pom Poms.
The dwarf goats
We welcomed our newest little goats this autumn and so we feel one step closer to nurturing a herd for dairy! The dairy is just for our own personal use in the kitchen!
The Mini Farm animals
In the mini farm we have Guinea Pigs and a Pet Rabbit. They are lovely to cuddle but most importantly they help us feed the vegetable garden with their poop and bedding. Guinea Pig and Rabbit waste is cold manure, so it can go straight on the garden. This has been very valuable in the spring growing season when our plants demand a lot from the soil.
Shetland Ponies
We welcomed our ponies onto the farm in May. They have been a very special edition to the farm and they are now very round. Keeping them a healthy weight on our farm has been very funny! However, we are sad to say that we have to sell the ponies, because we are unable to offer pony treks on the farm. Despite our efforts, it seems that we can not justify the work and cost of care, if we can not offer little treks to the community. This has been a difficult outcome and we are sorry if you were looking forward to meeting them! They ponies need more in their life and they are perfect for riding, so we hope we can rehome them, unless divine intervention changes our situation. Please keep our ponies in your hearts!
